Kenya announces its fourth incorporated city Nakuru. President Uhuru Kenyatta on 1st December 2021 awarded a city chapter to Nakuru city which is situated in the northwest part of the Capital city Nairobi. Mr Kinyanjui, Governor of Nakuru city said that various other projects will result in the growth of the city. Meanwhile, a claim is made about the city owning a Tower one Hotel in Nakuru city.
A Facebook user JML, having 65K followers on Facebook made the claim, “TOWER ONE Hotel in Nakuru City Kenya, when we say we are the Number in Africa, not Only East Africa my people from Tanzania and Uganda pls respect us”
Kampala Vibe, also claimed that Tower One Hotel a lavishing as well as the luxurious hotel is built on the land of Nakuru, Kenya.
Fact Check
After digging inside the truth behind the claim on the picture, we got to know that the viral picture is of the luxurious hotel in Singapore and the picture was taken in 2018. Therefore, the claim is misleading.
