A screenshot of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind’s tweet is going viral on social media. In which an appeal has been made to vote for the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in the UP election 2022.
The wordings in the screenshot says that wherever you will find a Muslim contestant fighting in the UP election 2022 from Bahujan Samaj Party, Kindly cast your vote for them. As many Muslim candidates will win, Inshallah, our Muslim community will get stronger. He also added that BSP has also got the votes of our Dalit brothers.

Fact Check
After our analysis, the claim came out to be false and fake. At the same time, Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind also denied the appeal to vote for BSP by tweeting on their Twitter account.

Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind in his tweet said it denies seeking votes for a particular party and someone has surely edited one of our tweets from the Twitter account of Jamiat. As Jamiat never announces to vote for any party in elections. Therefore, the screenshot of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind requesting casting votes for BSP is fake.
