Lata Mangeshkar was a well-known and most famous playback singer of all time. She was also considered as the “NIGHTINGALE OF BOLLYWOOD”. The news of her demise got viral all over India so in order to show one’s grievance, all the celebrities and famous people forwarded their condolences to her and her family.
In between this Sachin Tendulkar, a famous cricketer too posted a story on Instagram over the demise of Lata Mangeshkar , to which Instagram imposed a flag on post warning their users of fake news.

Through our research, We got to know that fake news on the demise of lata Mangeshkar was earlier too spread by people on social media platforms on 24th of Jan 2022.
This fake news was covered by many media houses . our website was also one of them to consider it as fake news.

This time when it was a true piece of information, Instagram again put it in the false news parameters, to warn their users. People have tweeted it all over the internet thrashing Instagram for treating the news of the demise of famous singer Lata Mangeshkar as a piece of fake news.

Conclusion:
Instagram falsely claimed the news of the demise of Lata Mangeshkar as fake news, when in actuality she left us all yesterday i.e. 6th of February 2022. Hence, it was a false claim by Instagram.
