A tweet is getting viral on social media platforms. Sharing the tweet users are claiming the “Bhagwant Mann pledges not to touch liquor on 1 January 2022.”

Along with the post,  P. Rahim Basha wrote, “Bhagwant Mann has given the biggest sacrifice in political history for people of #Punjab. He has promised not to touch liquor for 1st Jan-2022.”

In our fact check analysis our team found that this post is misleading. Further, we found a video on YouTube regarding the same. OneIndia uploaded this post on 21 January 2019. In the video, Mann pledged to give up drinking on his mother’s advice. Also, Delhi CM praised Mann for this sacrifice.

Moreover, the we found a report of Times Of India dated 21st January 2019 regarding the same.
