Several social media users shared the viral clip with captions claiming that Shah Rukh Khan had extended support to the party. One user named Jashimahmed posted the video alleging that the actor is joining the “Cockroach Janta Party.”
Another social media user also shared the same video with a similar caption that SRK is joining the “Cockroach Janta Party.”
Fact Check:
DFRAC investigation found the claim to be false and misleading. A reverse image search of key frames from the viral video led us to a YouTube video from the 2023 “Jawan” audio launch event, where Shah Rukh Khan appeared in the same outfit and background visible in the viral clip. However, the original event video contains no such political statement or endorsement.

Further verification using the Resemble AI audio detection tool indicated that the audio in the viral clip was AI-generated/manipulated and not authentic.
Additionally, Mumbai-based journalist Yuvraj Mohite, who covers Bollywood-related news, confirmed that the viral claim is fake and that Shah Rukh Khan never made such remarks.
