In the clip, he is allegedly heard criticizing the Modi government and claiming that India is becoming globally isolated, while Pakistan has emerged as a central player on the global stage and a “net security provider.
Sharing the video, a user named The Whistle Blower posted a caption stating: BREAKING NEWS: It’s a full throttle onslaught from the Indian media community; Ravish Kumar also slaps Modi Govt.”When you were watching ‘Dhurandhar-2’ in theatres, the global map changed & Pakistan became the regional powerhouse. It’s Modi’s failure.”
Fact Check:
The DFRAC’s investigation found the claim to be false. The viral video of Ravish Kumar has been digitally altered, and he never made the statements attributed to him.
A reverse image search of keyframes from the video led us to the original footage, which was uploaded on his YouTube channel on November 20, 2025. In that video, Ravish Kumar was discussing the Bihar Assembly elections and the swearing-in ceremony of Nitish Kumar. The video was titled, “BJP bows before Nitish; power gained, but not the reign.” (English Translation)
Additionally, the viral clip shows Ravish Kumar discussing the Bollywood film Dhurandhar-2, which was released on March 19, 2026. However, the original video predates the film by nearly five months, clearly indicating that the footage has been manipulated.
For further verification, we contacted Ravish Kumar, who confirmed that the video is completely fake and AI-generated.
Conclusion:
