Fact Check

To investigate the viral claim, the DFRAC conducted a reverse image search of the keyframe from the viral video. The video was found on social media accounts where it had been posted during the months of February and March. This means the video was shared on social media even before the Waqf law was passed and before the violence erupted in Murshidabad.

The video was posted by an Instagram user named Jadugar Gopal Raj (gopalkumar6729) on February 22, 2025, and was claimed to be from Madhubani, Bihar.

A user on Instagram has shared a video of a bikers. Nothing much is mentioned other than Madhubani, Bihar.

Conclusion

Hence, the fact check by DFRAC makes it clear that the viral video is not of recent incident. The video has been circulating on social media ever since February and March 2025.
