On social media, a video from Manipur has gone viral. While sharing the video users claim that In Manipur,  students are removing the Indian flag and hoisting the Seven coloured flag at the local District Commissioner’s office!.

During the investigation, DFRAC found a tweet from official X handle of ‘Manipur Police’ tweeted on 9 Sep stating “There were certain social media reports that student protestors replace National Flag at DC office in Thoubal. The report is false. The student protestors tried to replace an old and worn out Salai Taret (7 coloured flag) which was on the outside gate of DC office, Thoubal. Both the flags were removed from the gate after the mob was dispersed by the police”.
