Kamran Khan 
On social media, a video of a boy vandalizing idols inside a temple went viral. While sharing the video users claim that “A jihadi named Mohammad Siddiqui attacked the Jayapara Durga temple in Dhaka’s Dohar Upazila. After the attack on the temple, the madrasa extremist threatened to kill all Hindus”.
Fact Check
On investigation, DFRAC found that this video was from 2023. We found a similar video on the YouTube Channel of Asad Noor uploaded on 23 June 2023 titled “Mullah-Munshi and the government, together alone!”. In this video, Noor informed that “The boy identified as Siddique s/o Abdul Rahman, vandalized idols and abused the people who were there, after some time he was caught by some local people and handed over to police.”
Conclusion
It is evident from the DFRAC’s fact check that this video is from June 2023, not from the recent ongoing violence in Bangladesh. Therefore, the claim of social media users is misleading.
