Just as assembly elections approaches next year, BJP suffered a blow when two politicians from Uttarakhand Yashpal Arya and Sanjeev Arya left the party, resigned from their seats and joined Congress. They are a father and son duo.
Amidst this, an image of BJP politician Rekha Arya started to go viral on Facebook. An image of Rekha Arya painting a lotus on the wall along with the words “Our mistake, the lotus flower”. Implying that she too is leaving the party.

However after performing reverse image checks and keyword search we found the original image posted on Rekha Arya’s verified Facebook account.
