News is making rounds on social media site X stating that Saudi Arabia has decided to cut its imports from India by 45%. The news has been shared by several users on X including Pak-based handles.

Taking to X(Twitter), a Pak-based handle with the username @NavCom24 shared an image of Saudi Arabia’s PM and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman and wrote: “#BREAKING Saudi Arab has decided to cut its imports from India by 45%”.

Furthermore, numerous users shared the same image and made similar claims.

The DFRAC team searched some keywords on Google in the context of the viral news and found that no media reports have been published in this regard.
