What claim was shared?
“Most of Muslim employees took leaves from 19th-26th Jan, almost all Muslims all over India cancelled Travel plans, Ajmer special trains running empty. Many WhatsApp forwards instructing dos and don’t to Muslims.”
Fact Check
On investigation we found a tweet by Ayodhya Police which claimed this news to be fake. They urged internet users to not share any such news without verifying it. Legal action will be taken as per rules against those who post misleading posts.
A media report by Prabhat Khabar also mentioned that the viral claim was falsely shared.
Conclusion
Thus from the fact check, it is evident that the viral claim is fake. No such incident has been observed.
