Sharing this video, a verified user named Prakash Dhavarayya wrote – “Muslim brothers stopped Baba Saheb Ambedkar Yatra by pelting stones and returning it upside down. Where are the Dalit thinkers hiding? @BhimArmyChief Can’t politics happen here? Is he not a Dalit?” (English Translation). Fact Check:

To verify the viral claim, the DFRAC team converted the video into separate frames and performed a reverse search. We found a report by ‘Republic Bharat’ in which the viral video can be seen. According to this report, this incident of stone pelting in Ambedkar Jayanti Shobha Yatra took place in Bhartia village of Jaint police station area of Mathura district in Uttar Pradesh.

Our team searched some keywords on Google regarding stone pelting on Ambedkar Jayanti in Bhartia village. We found a report by ‘TV-9 Hindi’ which claimed that as soon as the Shobha Yatra reached the locality of the Thakurs, people started opposing the Shobha Yatra. The police pacified the atmosphere by using mild force. In the context of the same incident, it has been said that there was stone pelting which occurred for about half an hour.
