In a video going viral on social media of Congress’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, Rahul Gandhi can be seen taking a round of a memorial while a cameraman films him. Along with it a tweet from Supriya Shrinate is getting viral which states, “Camera on, acting on correct – excellent example of public conduct.” (English Translation)
Social media users are claiming that Supriya is taunting Rahul Gandhi.
A User on Twitter writes, “Camera On, acting Chalu @SupriyaShrinate.”
Fact Check:
By only looking at the tweet it seems like two different posts were edited to make this video.
To inquire further DFRAC team searched the official Twitter account of Supriya Shrinate and found her post where she tweeted the same for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Then we searched for the video of Rahul Gandhi and found the video of Rahul Gandhi is from December 26, when he visited the memorials of Rajeev Gandhi to pay homage after the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ reached Delhi.
Conclusion:
Two different tweet posts have been edited to make one tweet post. hence it is fake.
