Who is Dr. Sadhvi Prachi?
According to her Twitter Bio, she is the National President of National Bhagwa Kranti Sena and an active member of Rashtriya Sewika Samiti a social worker, and, a VPH leader. She is active on Twitter since January 2020 with more than 250 K followers. By simply scrolling through her account one can tell her to be a pro-BJP (Bhartiya Janta Party) supporter and is filled with the agenda of making India a Hindu Rashtra.
Backstory of her Twitter Account:
According to the collected data, the team found that three accounts were created with the same username of @Sadhvi_Prachi over a different period of time. These accounts were made to make a profile of Sadhvi Prachi and gain followers by setting clear narratives in their tweets.
Account No.1: @Sadhvi_Prachi (ID: 912671893328506880) was created in September 2017. The account gained a huge number of followers with its tweets and usually retweeted Arun Yadav of BJP (@beingarun28). This later changed its username from to @SanjayYadavBJP which has now become a verified account of a BJP MP of UP.
Account No. 2: The second account with the username of @Sadhvi_Prachi (ID: 1231176576617701378) does not exists now.

Account No. 3: username @Sadhvi_Prachi (ID: 1216397098423181312) created in January 2020 and a is currently active on twitter as a verified account of Sadhvi Prachi. This account along with her Facebook account runs many misleading news on the name of religion to create hatred in the community against different groups of people.
Hate Content:
- Sadhvi Prachi is involved in hate speech. Many FIRs have been filed on her name but that too did not stop her from spreading her agenda of hatred. she actively uses social media as a tool to a bash a particular religion. She often uses the words like jihadis, and khalistani to denote the religion she is targeting to. Also,in many of her tweets, she tries to create differences among different religions by comparing Mughal architecture with Hindu temples.
- Not only her hatred is not limited on social media, but in many interviews and speeches she had come forward and given the hate speech out in the open.
- This is one of her controversial speeches where she talks about Hindu Rashtra, and how there was no Muslim community in Hindustan 1400 years back.
- In another speech she talks about love jihad, in which she explains how a Muslim guy tries to trap a Hindu girl in his love so that he can change her religion and make her Muslim.
- On Maharana Pratap Jayanti she tried to instigate all the Hindu community against the Muslim community by asking them to abduct 10 Muslim girls if any Muslim guy tries to abduct any Hindu girl.

- Many times she tries to a bash madrasas by calling them illegal and appeals to the government to take strong steps against the maulanas running them.

Below graph tells, about the top hashtags that were used by @Sadhvi_Prachi. #TheKashmirFiles was used by the account the most with 23 times, followed by #banadipurush with 17 tweets. #Manipur_Boycott_Rahul and #BoycottLaalSinghChadha was also used a lot.

This trend was on a fake claim claiming that beef is being used in the Cadbury’s chocolates also the products are ‘halal certified’, while others objected to the advertisement for having a link with PM Modi.

- Initially, too she started one such Hashtag of #IAmShushant to gain popularity and followers while playing with the emotions of fans of actor Shushant Singh Rajput due to his untimely death. Recently, too she again started her war against Bollywood as according to her Bollywood movies are destroying the very culture and traditions of Hindustan.
#BanAdipurush is the latest hate trend where she is asking her followers to ban the movie, because for her the trailer is trying to degrade the image of Ramayana, on which the movie is based.

She shared a cutting of a newspaper of Actor Salman Khan which appears to be of his interview. Its title is – ‘I don’t like films in which Pakistan is called bad’. With the cutting she tweets in Hindi, ““Then why not settle down in Pakistan itself. What has India not given to him, it is the fault of the people. be more aware.”

Fact Check:
After a Keyword check DFRAC team found this report on of Nav Bharat Times , but the date on the Article was 22nd June 2015.
The report mentions that Salman khan is annoyed with those who speak against Pakistan and do politics about it. He also had said that earlier people of India used to go to Pakistan and appreciate their hosting.
Misleading News 2:
She shared a picture of Chat pooja comparing UP and Delhi she writes, “Retweet For Yogi Ji.”

Fact Check:
By reverse searching the image we found the image used in a report by NDTV while showing Delhi’s scenario is actually from the year 2019 and not recent.
Misleading News 3:
Amid BharatJodoYatra, she claimed that the Congress halted its ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, which is passing through Kerala, in support of the strike called in by the PFI.
Fact Check:
While investigating we found a tweet on 20 September by the Congress that clarified that 23 September would be a rest day.

The declaration of this day to be a ‘rest day’ was before the PFI strike and even the NIA and ED raids.
Misleading News 4:
She shared a picture of well- maintained primary school on her Facebook account claiming it to be of Uttar Pradesh.
Fact Check:
One India article written on October 19, 2016, contains the same viral images of the school in Sambhal district of UP. The report is an account of how the condition of the school building, its maintenance, overall administration and even students’ attendance improved drastically once Principal Kapil Malik took office in 2015.

Such accounts spread disinformation and biased news in attempt to manipulate the opinions of their viewers. Such activities intensify the hatred and communal disharmony among the different sections of the society.
