After #BoycottBollywood a new trend has emerged on social media i.e #आलिया_My_Foot under this hashtag too a lot of hate can be seen towards the main star cast Alia Bhat, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachan, and also the producer Karan Johar.
Meanwhile, a screenshot of the BBC News Hindi is circulated around the internet. In that screenshot it’s written, “#Big_breaking

Sharing that screenshot a user on Twitter writes, “Shame on you j Karachi Bollywood #आलिया_My_Foot.”
Fact Check:
To investigate the above claim DFRAC desk first ran a keyword search and found no such news on the official web pages and social media sites of BBC News Hindi.
Scrolling through their official Twitter account we found that the same screenshot was uploaded with a fake sign on it.
BBC News Hindi writes, “FAKE NEWS ALERT a fake tweet about Pakistan’s floods and Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt’s film ‘Brahmastra’ is being shared on social media in the name of BBC Hindi. This tweet is fake and no such tweet or such news has been made by BBC Hindi.”
