A video is being shared on Twitter where a woman is seen sitting between the spaces of two train coaches. Social media users have shared the video of the old woman and are claiming it to be from India.

A user on Twitter has shared the video with the caption, “So we are the world’s third largest economy.” (Translated into English)

Fact Check

Upon investigation of the video, we found it to be misleading. A Google reverse image search led us to the same video posted earlier by a Bangladesh-based Facebook user named Azizul Islam. We analyzed the content shared by the user on his Facebook account and found that he regularly uploads videos depicting day-to-day activities at a railway station in Bangladesh.

Further verification revealed that the train depicted in the viral video matches the color pattern of trains used by Bangladesh Railways for local trains, which are typically painted yellow and green.

We also compared the viral clip with other videos uploaded by the same Facebook account and found consistent visual elements, confirming that the video was recorded in Bangladesh and not India.

Additionally, we contacted the Facebook user who shared the video. He also confirmed the video to be from Bangladesh.

Conclusion

Thus, the viral video of an elderly woman sitting between two train coaches is not from India. It originated in Bangladesh.
