A video circulating on social media has garnered widespread attention, featuring a shoe unveiled by TATA, referred to as the “Levitating Shoe.” Users are intrigued by the idea that wearing this shoe allows you to hover a few inches above the ground and glide effortlessly across the surface.

The DFRAC team has classified this video and its claims as fake and AI-generated. No such product has been found on the official TATA website, and TATA has not officially unveiled any shoe of that kind. Additionally, the caption of the video clearly states that it is AI-generated and that the product is not real. After analysing the account of the user “multiversematrix,” who first posted the video, it’s evident that the account primarily shares various AI-related videos, which further supports the conclusion about this video’s authenticity.

The last major tech expo organised by Tata Motors was in January 2025. No such product was unveiled at that event.
