On October 1, 2025, DFRAC conducted an insightful workshop at Jamia Hamdard Institute of Skill Development for students pursuing vocational courses in Digital Marketing, Data Science, Finance, and Industry-Oriented Skills. The workshop was organized under the program “Empowered Youth and Verified Voices,” powered by the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN).

The workshop highlighted how fact-checking is not confined to journalism but is an essential daily practice for all social media users in the age of digital misinformation. Participants engaged in hands-on exercises distinguishing real and fake headlines, practiced Google Reverse Image Search, and learned methods to verify online information responsibly.

Students and faculty actively interacted with the presenters, raising insightful questions. The session concluded with the presenters being felicitated as Guests of Honour, as Jamia Hamdard expressed enthusiasm for the session to strengthen digital literacy and awareness.
