A video is going viral on the internet. In the video, we can see many Iranian trucks containing missiles coming out of a tunnel. The video is shared by many users across different social media platforms. A user on X with the username ‘@Millitary_110’, shared the video with the caption “Getting ready for tonight’s show”.
Another user on Instagram with the username ‘sisamakini’ shared the video. The user shared the video with the caption “The owners of Iran say that tonight there is a big ‘SURPRISE’ they are going to do there in the chosen nation of sculptures.
The video has been shared by many other users also, with similar captions which can be seen here, here and here.
Fact Check
DFRAC conducted a detailed research on the viral video. In the search, the video turned out to be fake. We checked for any similar videos shared on the official social media account of the Iranian government, but came up empty-handed. We also looked for any credible media reports to confirm the authenticity of the video, but found nothing.
Then we watched the video, and when we looked closely, we noticed some unnatural movement of the rocks in the bottom right corner of the video.
To confirm the authenticity of the video, we uploaded the keyframes of the video on AI-image detector websites such as ‘Undetectable AI’ and ‘Decopy AI’. The websites declared the video as AI-generated.
Conclusion
Hence, it is concluded that the video is FAKE and AI-generated. As we found no official post or media report with the concerned video. When we uploaded the snippets from the video on an AI-image detector website, it turned out to be AI-generated.
