Fact Check

Our team reviewed the official video of the press conference titled “DGMO Press Briefing Live: Joint Press Conference by DGMOs of Army, Navy & Air Force.” The briefing featured senior representatives, including Air Marshal AK Bharti, who addressed the media on behalf of the Indian Armed Forces.

During the press conference, Air Marshal Bharti made the following statement:

“We are in a combat scenario, and losses are part of combat. However, we have achieved all our objectives, and all our pilots are back home.”

This indicates that while acknowledging the risks of combat, he emphasized that all Indian pilots have returned safely.

Conclusion

The claim that the Indian Army confirmed the loss of a Rafale jet is false. No such confirmation was made in the official press briefing.
