Further into investigation, we found another report from Dainik Bhaskar. In an interview, she said, “I will definitely visit my father’s country, India, and meet the people. I am excited about the Indian astronaut who will soon go on the Axiom Mission. It’s really great. There will be a hero from their own country there who will be able to talk about how amazing the International Space Station is from their perspective. I hope I can meet them sometime, and we can share our experiences with as many people as possible in India. India is a great country and an amazing democracy, striving to make its place among space nations. We would love to be a part of that and help India.”

Conclusion

Therefore, the DFRAC’s fact check proves that the viral poster is misleading. This is because Sunita Williams has spoken about visiting India, not about visiting Manipur.
