
Claim
A viral video claims that the Narendra Modi government has launched a new scheme under which everyone can get a job. The scheme is called One Family One Job Scheme (एक परिवार 1 नौकरी योजना). A tabular representation shows the salary given according to the education qualification of the candidate.

The video also mentions the requirements for the scheme: the applicant must be an Indian Citizen, the applicant’s age must be between 18 and 55 years, no other family member should be working as a government employee, family’s annual income must be Rs 3,00,000, minimum educational qualification – Class 8th, and one member from a family can apply under this scheme.

Furthermore, the video informs of the documents required while applying for a job under this scheme. The documents required are: an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Residency Proof, Educational certificates, Caste certificate (if needed), Passbook of Bank Account, and a Passport-sized photograph.

Lastly, the video further elaborates on the procedure for how to apply for a job under this scheme.
Fact Check
To verify the claim, DFRAC did a keyword search for the ‘One Family One Job Scheme’. This led us to a website – MyScheme. This website informs about this scheme by the Directorate of Employment, Government of Haryana which was launched on 1 December 1992 in the state of Haryana.

No news reports were there to inform about such a scheme launched by the Government of India, with all the mentioned requirements in the claimant’s video.

Furthermore, we checked the Directorate General of Employment’s site. There is no mention of such an employment scheme by the Government of India.
Conclusion
The claim is fake. There is no scheme for employment called ‘One Family One Job’. These kinds of fake videos sporadically appear on social media.
