Claim

Many users on social media claimed that the UK is gradually shifting towards Islamic State with the photo of UK PM Keir Starmer and King Charles in a mosque. Users also claim that ‘soft Jihad’ is causing “Great Replacement” in the UK.

Fact check:

To verify the reality behind the viral picture, DFRAC investigation first searched Google to get information about such an event. The extensive search produced no positive result.

In the next step, the investigation searched the official handles and websites of The King and the UK Prime Minister to verify the image. No such incident was available there also.

Going ahead, the team analysed the image using the AI detection tool ‘HIVEMODERATION’. The result showed that ‘The input is: likely to contain AI-generated or deepfake.  The content is 99.5% AI generated.

Furthermore, at the right bottom the watermark of Grok XI is visible. Grok is a generative artificial intelligence chatbot developed by xAI.

Conclusion

From the analysis of DFRAC, it became evident that the image of UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and King Charles in a Masjid is AI generated and no such gathering was reported. So the image and the claims are fake.
