Fact Check
To investigate the claim, DFRAC searched the keywords to know about the ban imposed by Brazil on Indian migrants.
The search made by DFRAC led to the news report by ‘The Economic Times’ from 22 August 2024 stating that Brazilian authorities has imposed a ban on migrants from Asian countries such as India, Nepal, and Vietnam.

The report informed that the migrants used Brazil as a transit point to migrate to the US and Canada.
