Posting an image of PM Modi and Former Canadian PM Trudeau, a user named Asad Nasir wrote: “According to unofficial reports, Canada is likely to request FATF to blacklist India for terrorism on foreign soil”

Fact-Check
The DFRAC team investigated this claim and found it to be fake.
We conducted a keyword search related to the above-shared claim and found that there were no reports available online to support it.
On the contrary, we came across the latest report by News 18 stating that after FATF’s relaxation on the Pakistan Army, Pakistan is willing to release terrorists of the proxy outfits from the POK, It’s a move that violates FATF guidelines.

Conclusion
It is clear from DFRAC’s fact-check that the viral claim alleging that Canada to request FATF to blacklist India for terrorism on foreign soil is fake since no such reports have come to light in this regard.
