A video is making rounds on social media platform X(formerly Twitter) depicting an Islamic leader delivering an anti-religious speech. Users are sharing this video and claiming it is from Uttar Pradesh’s Ghazipur district.
Taking to X, a user named Riddhima Sharma wrote: “Hindus keep reposting until you are arrested He should be jailed at any cost. He has got so much courage that he is openly speaking on the stage mic to kill Hindus
Please take action against him Such people are not fit to live in any society, arrest them (Translated from Hindi)

Fact-check
The DFRAC team fact-checked the above viral video and found a tweet on the X handle of Ghazipur police in this regard. The tweet carried a brief press note informing that the video was related to Bangladesh. The person seen in the video, was from Pakistan, through whom this statement was given in Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Conclusion
It is evident from DFRAC’s fact-check that the viral video has been misleadingly shared on X. In reality, the video is associated with Bangladesh’s Gazipur not from UP’s Ghazipur.
