Fake letter with the signature of BJP’s Ravinder Raina goes viral. Here’s the reality

On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), an order is being circulated in Kashmir Valley carrying the signature of Ravinder Raina, BJP president of Jammu & Kashmir. The order read: “On the directions of party high command all BJP workers of Kashmir Province are directed to attend the welcome rally of Abdul Rashid Sheikh”. Users are sharing this order and claiming that the BJP is directing its workers to attend and support the Engineer”.

While sharing this order on X. an account with the username @JkyncM64770 wrote: “Deal is now open. BJP directs it’s workers to attend and support Engineer”

0n investigation, DFRAC found the claim was baseless. We found a tweet from the official X handle of ‘Ravinder Raina’stating: “Political propaganda by frustrated opposition. This fake letter is being circulated in Kashmir Valley, this is nothing but political Propaganda by frustrated Opposition—no such order issued from my office. I have requested  ECISVEEP to register FIR in the political fraud”.
