During the investigation, DFRAC found many media reports regarding this incident. According to the Tv9Marathi report, “Accused Akshay Shinde, who lives in Kharwai village in Badlapur East, was only 24 years old but had already been married three times. The image was featured in a viral social media post by a Pakistani defense account, falsely claiming that the aircraft had successfully shot down an Indian Rafale jet during an aerial encounter over the Line of Control (LoC).
