A pak-based handle took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter)and claimed that six Indian soldiers, including an officer, have reportedly died, and several others were injured after their bus plunged into a gorge in Leh, Ladakh.
An account operating under the name ‘Psywar Bureau’ posted some images on X and wrote: “Six Indỉạn soldiers, including an officer, have reportedly dỉẹd, and several others were ỉnjurẹd after their bus plunged into a gorge in Leh, Ladakh. The ỉncỉdent occurred following an ạttạck by a Kạshmỉrỉ frẹẹdom fỉghtẹr who fỉrẹd on the vẹhỉclẹ in Jammu and Kashmir”
Notably. the account had shared pleothra of misinformation against India in the past.

To investigate the above-shared news, the DFRAC team search some keywords on google in this regard and found that no such news has been published in support of above claim. Contrary to this, news claiming that seven passengers died and more than 21 others injured in Ladakh’s Leh is making headlines in the mainstream media.

As per latest reports, at least seven passengers were killed and 21 others injured when a school bus veered off the road and fell into a 200-feet-deep gorge at Durbuk, nearly 100 kilometres from Leh, in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
