News is doing rounds on the Internet alleging that Hezbollah says it will target Indian embassies in the Middle East if India continues supplying weapons to Israel. Several users have shared news including a Pak-based handle on social media

A pak-based handle named Ironclad, operating under the username of @NAavCom24 shared this news and wrote: “#BREAKING Hezbollah says it will target Indian embassies in the Middle East if India continues supplying weapons to Israel.

To verify the authenticity of the viral news, the DFRAC searched some keywords in this regard and found no such reports or news articles are available online in support of the above viral claim.

For further investigation, our team contacted a Journalist named Ali Yehya in Lebanon and got a response stating that they would not target any embassy in Lebanon and would not attack civilian diplomatic missions.

Conclusion

It is evident from DFRAC’s fact-check that the viral news stating Hezbollah says it will target Indian embassies in the Middle East if India continues supplying weapons to Israel is completely fake since no credible sources have come to light in this regard.
