A claim has recently surfaced on X platform (formerly Twittter) stating that at least 6 Indian nationals killed in Hezbollah’s rocket attack on Northern Israel. Many Pak-Based Handles shared this claim stating same facts.
A pak-based handle namely Ironclad, known for sharing misinformation, has posted an image on X with caption:“#BREAKING: At least 06 Indian nationals killed in Hezbollah’s rocket attack on Northern Israel”
Subsequently, the claim has been shared by several accounts on X.
Fact-Check
The DFRAC team investigated this claim by searching some Keywords on google. No such reports or news articles have been found citing the above claim.
Upon Investigating further, we found some recently published reports by Reuters, The Starit Times and Middle East Online.
As per reports, large swaths of northern Israel were engulfed by wild fires set off by rockets launched by Hezbollah.
Many Israelis living near the Lebanon border evacuated months ago given the escalating fighting between Israel and Hezbollah. Some houses caught fire, local media reported. The Israeli military sent equipment and soldiers to help contain the flames, which spread quickly due to hot and dry weather, and six military reservists were lightly injured

It is evident from DFRAC’s Fact-Check that the above-shared claim citing the death of 6 Indian Nationals is misleading since there are no reports or news articles available online in the support of above claim.
