On the social media platform, Facebook, a photograph of cow urine packed in a small bottle is being shared which claims that the cow urine certified by FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) is being sold in the market.

Fact Check
The DFRAC team fact-checked the viral claim related to cow urine. We found a post debunking this claim on the Facebook page of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. It said, “Beware! A rumor is being spread on some WhatsApp and digital media channels that cow urine is certified by FSSAI, which is completely fake. No license number has been issued for cow urine by FSSAI.”
The ministry also shared the same information on its WhatsApp channel. FSSAI, or the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, is the body that regulates food standards in India.
Conclusion
It is clear from the fact check that the viral claim about cow urine certified by FSSAI is not true, because Ministry of Health and Family welfare, Government of India has issued an alert regarding this and called it fake.
