A tweet stating the schedule of upcoming Lok Sabha elections has gone viral over social media platforms. Not only x, but the schedule has also been widely circulated on WhatsApp. Users are fiercely sharing this schedule and assuming that dates have been announced by the Election Commission of India elections 2024.
A user by the name of Anil Relan posted this tweet depicting the dates of nomination, polling, results etc.

Furthermore, other users also shared this tweet and made similar claims. 

Fact Check

The DFRAC team investigated the above viral tweet. A keyword search in the context of the above viral tweet led us to another tweet on the official X(Twitter) handle of the Election Commission of India. In this tweet, ECI has asserted that the schedule is fake. No dates have been announced so far by the Election Commission of India.

Moreover, the Election Schedule is announced by the Election Commission of India through a press conference.

Conclusion

It is evident from DFRAC’s Fact-Check that the viral tweet stating the schedule of upcoming Elections is Fake as the upcoming election schedule has yet to be announced.

Hence, the claim of users is False.
