India’s World Cup final loss has drawn a heavy backlash on social media platforms. Amid this, we came across one such video on X(Twitter), showing some people expressing their disappointment by thrashing the posters of the players of the Indian cricket team after India’s ODI World Cup 2023 final loss.

To determine the truth behind the viral video, the DFRAC team converted it into some keyframes and reverse-searched it on Google.

Video was found on Facebook

We found this video on a Facebook page named ‘Informative stuff’ which was posted a year ago when India lost the semi-final match of the T20 World Cup 2022 against England by 10 wickets.

It is clear from DFRAC’s Fact-Check that the viral video has no relation with the recent World Cup final loss as it was posted in the year 2022.
