Amid the Rajasthan Election 2023, a video of Congress MLA Wajib Ali’s rally has gone viral on social media platforms. Users on social media are fervently sharing this video and claiming that ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans were raised during Congress MLA’s Rally In Bharatpur.

Sharing this video on X(Twitter), a user named Ganesh Suthar wrote: “Bharatpur Rajasthan..* Slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” are being raised in the election meetings of Congress. The real character of Congress Listen, Congressmen, Pakistan is dead and will always remain so.”(English Translation)

Fact-Check

To verify the authenticity of the viral video, firstly, the DFRAC team reduced the noise and enhanced the vocals in the audio of the viral video and found that people actually shouted ‘Wajib Bhai Zindabad’.

Furthermore, we contacted the Bharatpur Police control room regarding the viral video. The official said that they didn’t get any such video in their investigation where Pakistan Zindabad slogans were raised.

What did the Media Reports say?

As per media report by the News Website, Patrika’,  the MLA says that a conspiracy has been hatched to create a religious frenzy and the video has been tampered with and made viral on social media. After discussing the video with the police officials, a complaint was lodged against the accused.

It is clear from DFRAC’s Fact-Check that the claim made through the viral video is False as the people, in the viral video, raised the slogans of ‘Wajib Bhai Zindabad’, not Pakistan Zindabad.
