A video is going viral on social media with the claim that terrorists are trying to enter Israeli territory.

Sudarshan News Editor-In-Chief @SureshChavhanke posted a video on X. He described this video as being from Israel-Lebanon and claimed that “terrorists and their supporters are trying to enter Israel territory by jumping the fence”. (Translated in English).

Fact Check
To know the truth of the video, DFRAC team converted the video into some keyframes and reverse-searched it on Google. We found this video on YouTube Shorts, which was uploaded by a user on 11 January 2022.
Video found on CNN as well
When we investigated further, we found that the video was uploaded on the News Website CNN with the caption, “Anger on the Lebanese-Israeli border due to the events in Gaza..” on 17 May 2021.
Comparison between the two pictures
When we compared the two pictures, we found that the stand on which people are standing while holding a flag is same.
Conclusion
It is clear from the DFRAC’ s fact-check that the video which is going viral, is not recent. The video has been uploaded 2 years ago where people are climbing wall to install Palestinian flags.. Therefore, the claim of Surdashan News editor in chief, Suresh Chavhanke is misleading.
