A claim has gone viral on social media , where users are claiming that footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has oped the doors of his hotel, Pestana CR7 for the Earthquake victims in Morocco.
Morocco is suffering from the deadliest earthquake disasters, where the magnitude 6.8 quake hit Marrakesh and many towns on Friday night. Cristiano’s hotel is also located in the Marrakech, Morocco.
A user named Sportbible on @X share the claim,”Cristiano Ronaldo has offered shelter at his Morocco hotel for earthquake survivors.

Fact Check
DFRAC investigated the viral claim. During the process we checked the official accounts of Cristiano Ronaldo and the hotel Pestana CR7on X(formerly twitter).No tweets were posted about any such refuge facility for Earthquake victims of Morocco, by them.
Furthermore, On investigating we also found the tweet of Izemanass who is a Member of the executive committee of the Sports Union of Moroccan Journalists & President of the Sports Union. He also mentioned,”The information circulating that Cristiano Ronaldo made his Pestana CR7 Hotel in Marrakech available to shelter people affected by the earthquake in Morocco is completely false!
I contacted the hotel myself and they confirmed that it was false!!!”
Additionally, some media reports were also found,published by Ynetnews and Goal.
In the article, Ynetnews have stated “Hotel manager says they received many requests to host people because the building was not affected by the earthquake, and many guests have indeed arrived, but it is not hosting refugees”
Conclusion
From the Factcheck it is evident that the viral claim about the Cristiano Ronaldo’s Hotel is fake. There are no official announcements from any of the parties about any refuge facility for Earthquake victims.
