A claim is going viral on social media platforms stating that Hindu women were gang raped during violent clashes of Haryana’ s Nuh. Users on social media are sharing the videos from several YouTube channels with similar claims
Violent Clashes were broken out in Haryana’s Nuh on July 31, 2023 Monday, when a mob pelted stones at Vishav Hindu Parishad Procession(VHP). Around 141 people have been arrested and 55 FIRs registered so far in the connection with the violence.
Users by the name of Shalini Kumawat, Gautam Chakravarti and Govind Jha shared some posts on Twitter with the claim of Hindu women were gang raped during the violence in Haryana’s Nuh.

When the Dfrac team investigated this claim, the team found the statement of Mamta Singh AGDP of South zone. She denied the claims of Hindu Women were gang raped as she was present at the premises of Nalhar Temple when the violent clashes erupted in Nuh.
Her statement can be heard in a video that was uploaded by Dainik Jagran YouTube channel.
Conclusion
Therefore, Mamta Singh’s statement clears that no such incident took place near Nalhar Mandir during the Nuh Violence. Hence, the claim of social media users is fake.
