A user by the name of Zhao DaShuai posted a picture on July 21, 2023, on Twitter and wrote: “People offering prayers at the Yamuna River in India. The water is frothing from industrial waste, caused by dumping toxic chemicals into the water”.

Meanwhile, the team found these pictures on the renowned Newspaper Website Indian Express uploaded on November 8, 2016, with the title: “Yamuna River: Sea of froth welcomes devotees on Chhath Puja”.

Furthermore, Website Scoopwhoop also posted the same pictures on November 8, 2016, with the title: “These Images Of A Foam-Filled Yamuna Show That It’s Not Just The Air In Delhi That’s Poisonous”.
