We converted the viral video into key frames for our investigation and reverse searched the images. We found a similar video posted in a tweet of Rajasthan’s Banswara Police. The video belonged to a police station of Bhujodi village. The video was posted in 2019. An accident of a private bus took place on 28.6.2019 in front of the Petrol Pump of Ramsar’s Ghagria police station. In this accident, an individual died and other three were injured. In protest against this incident, demands were made by the relatives of the deceased during the protest during the funeral at their house. At the same time, such a speech was also given by the relatives of the deceased. Proceedings were also done by the Police in the same.
Conclusion
Hence, it is proved from DFRAC’s Fact Check that this viral video is misleading. The video belongs to Rajasthan, not Bengaluru.
