We reverse-searched the image to verify the claim made with the viral image. During this, we found this picture in a report of ‘ The Free Press Journal‘. The picture has been attached as the feature image in the report.
According to the report, this image is from Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. As per the report, heavy rains on the occasion of Eid resulted in water flooding the streets of Tejgaon. Immediately after the rain, the water-filled roads turned into a deep red shade, leaving everyone astonished.
According to the photographer in Dhaka who posted these images on Twitter, the blood of sacrificial animals mixed with the rainwater during the tradition of animal sacrifice.
