Twitter founder and former CEO Jack Dorsey has become a topic of discussion in India due to one of his recent interviews. He has claimed in the interview that during the farmer’s movement, the Government of India had threatened him to shut down Twitter.
A picture of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi with Jack Dorsey is going viral on social media. Users are claiming that this is foreign propaganda by Rahul Gandhi to bring down India. It may be noted that recently Rahul Gandhi has also visited America.
BJP spokesperson and national media in-charge of OBC Morcha, Ajay Sehrawat, re tweeting Congress’s tweet, shared a picture and the same part of Jack Dorsey’s interview. He has written, “Only a child born of a foreign mother can take the help of foreign propaganda to humiliate the country. Whenever Mr. Rahul Nehru Gandhi goes to visit abroad, he comes with some issue or some other agenda. Everything is going according to the toolkit, isn’t it @INCIndia people??”

To verify the authenticity of the viral photo of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi with former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, the DFRAC team performed a reverse image search on the image with the help of Google. We found some media reports in this context.
India Today has published the news on November 12, 2018 under the headline, “Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey meets Rahul Gandhi, shows him his tattoo”. According to the news, in 2018, Dorsey visited India for the first time.
Sharing some pictures, Rahul Gandhi also tweeted about this meeting.
Dorsey had also met PM Narendra Modi on this occasion. India Times had published news in this regard on 13 November 2018.
