According to many reports on main stream media and social media ,the Turkish president Tayyip Erdogan health is said to be serious as it is claimed that Erdogan have suffered a “heart attack”and is being treated in hospital and his condition is claimed to be critical.
Many Indian media houses too escalated this issue under there special reports.
A verified user by the name of Malinda who claims herself as a nurse posted the claim.

To check the veracity of the claim we searched on google using specific keywords and found a tweet from Communications director Fahrettin Altun where he tweeted some pictures of Erdogan is in hospital and writes, “We categorically reject such unsubstantiated claims regarding the health of the President. The President will attend tomorrow’s nuclear power plant opening via video conference. No amount of disinformation can dispute the fact that the Turkish people stand with their leader and @RTErdogan and his AK Party are set to win the May 14 elections.”
Other then this we found many tweets after the tweet of Altun that denies the claims of deteriorating health of the president.The tweet denies the claim of heart attack but confirms that the president is suffering from minor cold and flu.
Conclusion:
Hence, it is clear from the fact check that Erdogan have not suffered a heart attack but was suffering from minor cold and flu, and also the president is fit for polling the elections. Hence the claim of many media houses and social media users is misleading.
