Fact Check:

To verify Dr. Richa Rajput’s claim, the DFRAC team first gathered information about the founding days of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP) on Google.

According to a report of Times of India, the BJP was founded by the leaders of the erstwhile Jan Sangh on April 6, 1980. Similarly, according to another report of Jagran, Mulayam Singh Yadav founded the Samajwadi Party on October 4, 1992.

In addition, we also gathered information related to Eid-ul-Adha i.e. Bakrid during the year of the founding day of the Samajwadi Party (SP). It was found that Eid-ul-Adha was celebrated on June 10-11, 1992 based on the Hijri calendar.

It is worth mentioning that Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated on April 05, 1992. It should be noted that Eid-ul-Adha is celebrated 67 to 69 days after Eid-ul-Fitr.

Conclusion:

Therefore, it is clear from DFRAC’s fact check that Dr. Richa Rajput’s claim that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was founded on Hanuman Jayanti and the Samajwadi Party (SP) was founded on Eid-ul-Adha (Bakrid) is Fake.
