A video is going viral on social media. In this video, it can be seen that people of Muslim society are taking out a procession with swords in their hands.
In the viral video a hatred song can be heard with the slogans of “Allah- hu- Akbar”
A Twitter user named Kalpana Srivastava shared the video and wrote, “This video is from Bihar, keep sleeping Hindus, you keep sleeping now when there is a fire in the house, start digging a well, if Hindu rashtra is not declared under the Modi government now, will it never happen again?”(English Translation)
According to the Twitter bio, Kalpana is the founder of Adiguru Shankaracharya Gurukul (Trust) and a Delhi-based lawyer. The number of followers on Twitter is about 84 thousand.
Many other social media users have also shared this video with a similar claim.
Fact Check:
The DFRAC team first watched the video carefully to inestigate the viral video then searched on YouTube with the help of text seen with the YouTube logo in the video. We found this video on a YouTube channel called MAH Factory – Muharram, which is captioned, “Nare Takbeer + Hatho Me Talwar | Only Talwar | Muharram Dehri on Sone Muharram” has been uploaded two years ago on 14 March 2020. Then there was a BJP-JDU coalition government in Bihar. At present, there is a grand alliance government.
“Dehri on Sone” is located near the Sone River in Rohtas district of Bihar.
Conclusion:
It is clear from dfrac’s fact check that the viral video is not currently but two years old, so the claim of social media users is misleading.
