A video is getting viral on social media sites regarding the results of an opinion poll published by ABP news. Social media users are claiming that Congress has won the 2022 Himachal Pradesh election.

The video stated that Congress getting a majority of 39-45 seats out of 68 seats while the (BJP) is being projected to win 22- 28 seats

By sharing the picture a user named Alka Lamba who is a member of Congress captioned:  “ The government has become. Thanks to Himachal #HimanchalPradeeshElections “( English Translation)

Meanwhile, many other social media users are sharing a similar claim-

Fact Check:

To analyze the originality of the viral claim the team of DFRAC did a reverse image search on google. The team found a similar video on the official YouTube channel of ABP News which was uploaded 5 years ago. The headline of the channel is- “ ABP News opinion poll: BJP set to sweep Himachal  Pradesh, may get 39-45 seats.”

It is clear from the verification of DFRAC that the viral video is 5 years old. Therefore, the claim made by  Alka Lamba and other social media users is Misleading.
