Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and cabinet minister in the Delhi government Rajendra Pal Gautam was present at a program in the capital Delhi on October 5. In this program, an oath was taken that ‘I will not consider Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh, Ram, Krishna as God and will not worship them.’
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) called the event a conspiracy to insult Hinduism and said that Arvind Kejriwal is “anti-Hindu”. Political pressure increased so much that after 4 days he had to resign from the post of minister.
Giving an interview with the newspaper Dainik Bhaskar, former minister Rajendra Pal Gautam said that he doesn’t want BJP to get benefits in Gujarat, so he is resigning. Such decisions have to be taken in politics. He told the newspaper that now as an MLA, he will fight for the people of my assembly and I will fight the cases of my people through advocacy.
Then came the news that Delhi Police had summoned him and summoned documents related to conversion.
During this, ABP News anchor Rubika Liaquat claimed in her show ‘Hunkar‘ at about 41st minute that Babasaheb Ambedkar had taken this ‘Dhamma Pratigya‘ alone.

To investigate the claim of anchor Rubika Liaquat, we did a simple search on Google with the help of certain keywords. During this, we got many reports published by different media houses.
A report published by BBC Hindi states that on October 15, 1956, a crowd of thousands stood in front of BR Ambedkar and he told people these 22 oaths were administered.
In 1951, Babasaheb Dr. BR Ambedkar resigned from the cabinet of the country’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and in 1956 he converted to Buddhism. The title, “Ambedkar was a staunch follower of Hinduism! In a fact-check conducted under “Read Fact check,” it has been told by DFRAC that Babasaheb Ambedkar converted to Buddhism along with his three lakh 80 thousand supporters in Nagpur on 14 October 1956. It is said that this was the biggest event of religious conversion in the whole world.
It is to be known that the Government of India itself does the work of publishing the writings and speech of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, which includes 22 pledges of BR Ambedkar.
