An Image of PM Narendra Modi is getting viral on social media sites. In the image PM, Modi can be seen in a praying posture, and just in front of him, a photographer can be seen taking pictures of PM Modi lying on the ground. Social media users are sharing pictures with sarcastic captions over them.

A user on Twitter wrote, “Looks like the photographer was lying down again!” (English Translation)

While another user wrote, “How much do Modi’s cameramen earn?

Fact Check:

To investigate the above claim DFRAC team did a reverse image search and found many look-alike pictures of PM Modi.

We found the same image along with some other images on the official Twitter handle of PM Modi with the caption, “Took part in a prayer meeting at the Gandhi Smriti in Delhi.”

Further investigating team found a report on INDIA TV with the caption, “PM Narendra Modi pays tribute to Mahatma Gandhi in Delhi’s Gandhi Smriti.”

Conclusion: 

No image shared by social media users can be seen. This shows that the image is edited and misleading.
