A picture is getting viral on social media sites regarding the inauguration of a train by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sharing this picture, social media users are claiming that he inaugurates the same train twice: first in the year 2019 and then in 2022.

To analyze the reality of the picture the DFRAC team did a reverse image search. The team found out that many other news houses covered this news. According to the sources, one is Metro and another one is Vande Bharat Express.
In the first picture- On March 4, 2019 PM Modi inaugurated the first phase of the Ahmedabad Metro. We found a report by Deccan Herald. The picture which can be seen in this report was shared by Rohan Gupta
In the second picture- On reverse searching the second picture shared by Rohan Gupta, we found an Indian Today report. This report has published on 30 September 2022. According to this report, PM Modi Flagged Off the Vande Bharat train in Gandhinagar.
Here we are giving a collage with reference to these two pictures in which it is clearly shown that both the pictures are from different events
Conclusion:
It is clear from the verification of DFRAC that the viral pictures are of the different inaugurations by PM Modi in two different years. One is to flag off the Metro and another is to flag off Vande Bharat express. Therefore, the claim made by social media users is Misleading.
